What a lovely summer in Suffolk it has been...
How lucky I was to spend the summer in Suffolk
I made some great new contacts and also found some
lovely shops to visit.
Southwold Antiques Fair
As I walked down from the high street towards the
green to the fair, I overhead two ladies complaining
about the quality of the fair this year.
When I arrived at the green I hadn't expected so many stalls, and for me the quality and amount of items was great. There was a great mix of antiques, vintage, retro and salvage.
Perhaps in earlier years it stuck to more of an antique feel, but times are changing with the things people are buying. Definitely a good fair with a wide variety of choice.
Right Up My Street
I love the underground signage that has become popular now, Tim was a great contact to meet he had some wonderful items.
Such a desirable collection of pieces.
As well as interiors Tim also stocks vintage clothes and accessories.
I could have spent a lot longer at the fair as there was
such a diverse mix from antique picture frames,
collectables, seventies and french fabrics, industrial
stools, galvanised planters, reclaimed lighting......after
the fair we popped to The Sail Loft to sit in the sun
before we took the boys crabbing on the harbour.
